How does the 3D Lipo work?

What areas can the 3D Ultimatepro Treat?

The device has four different handpieces, each utilising a different method to target fat removal and cellulite for optimum results. A bespoke treatment plan is created for each individual which may include using just one method, or a combination.
Cavitation
Low-frequency ultrasound waves are produced that deliver heat and vibrations to the fat cells. This causes the cells to burst and leak out the liquid contents. This liquid fat quickly gets broken down, taken away and used up by your body causing instant, measurable fat loss. For some, this process may take several days or weeks.
Radiofrequency Fat Melting/Skin Tightening
This technology delivers heat to the fat cells in the form of radiofrequency waves. This heat melts the contents of the fat cell and makes the cell membrane porous. This causes some liquid fat to leak out of the cell. It’s also a great treatment for cellulite as it helps to flatten any lumpy fibrous areas of fat. The heat produced by the Radiofrequency energy also triggers new collagen and elastin formation therefore tightening the skin and reducing wrinkles and stretch marks.
Shockwave Therapy
This technology produces soundwaves that break down fibrous fatty tissue and areas of dimpling. Shockwave is also used to tighten skin and aid lymphatic drainage to speed up the process of removing the destroyed fat cells from the treatment area.
Cryolipolysis (Fat Freezing)
Fat freezing is used to treat a stubborn pocket of fat, generally where there is visible sagging such as lower stomach and upper arms. It works by freezing and crystallising the contents of fat cells. This triggers the immune system to break down the damaged cell causing cell death (apoptosis). Approximately 20-40% of the fat cells in the treatment area will be destroyed. It can take up to 6 weeks to see results as the cells are broken down and taken away by the lymphatic system. This treatment should be combined with Shockwave Therapy to enhance and speed up results.

How long does 3D Lipo treatment last?
Any fat lost from the area is due to cell death, therefore is permanent. Any skin tightening element may need maintenance treatments if the skin over the area has lost a lot of elasticity.
Is Treatment with the 3D Lipo painful?
This is not a painful treatment, in fact, most people report a soothing, warm massaging sensation. Some mild discomfort may be felt by those with sensitive or delicate skin. The Cryolipolysis treatment may cause a slight pinching sensation as the area is drawn into a handpiece with a vacuum.
